Ogboo Mining Services is a freshly registered Australian company built to bring seasoned mechanical craftsmanship to the country's processing plants — without the overhead and inertia of a legacy contractor.
Our story
Built on the floor, not from a brochure.
Ogboo was registered as a new business so that we could deliver mining mechanical services the way we believe they should be delivered — small, accountable teams, every job led by a tradesperson, every scope written with the operator's reliability targets in mind.
Our people come from frontline Australian mining environments — iron ore, gold, nickel, lithium. We've turned wrenches inside SAG mills, splice-bonded conveyors at 3 a.m., torqued slurry pump glands while a process plant ramped back up around us.
What we stand for
Three principles. No exceptions.

Isolation first
Lockout / Tagout is non-negotiable. If a machine isn't safe to work on, we stop until it is — and we document why.
II.
Craft over speed
Speed comes from precision, not corners. Torque sheets, alignment readings and weld checks are the speed.
III.
Document the truth
Defect reports, NDT records and as-built photographs are handed back to the asset owner. Always.

Home in Wellard. At home on any site.
Our base is Wellard, Western Australia — postcode 6170, south of Perth. From there we mobilise across WA's iron ore, gold, nickel and lithium operations, with capability to travel to any Australian mining jurisdiction that needs hands on the spanner.

Standards we work to
Australian mine safety, written into every JHA.
We align our work to AS / NZS standards, the relevant state mine safety regulations, and to each site's own permit-to-work and isolation procedures. Compliance isn't a layer on top — it's the work itself.
